Attorney General Dana Nessel and Supreme Court Justices Richard Bernstein and Megan Cavanagh are conducting a state-wide listening tour to identify additional issues the Michigan Elder Abuse Task Force should address. The Elder Abuse Task Force was created by the Attorney General to explore opportunities to tackle the issues facing the senior community – including abuse, neglect and exploitation.
The Elder Abuse Listening Tour is a unique opportunity to connect with public servants of our state to share experiences and make recommendations. While specific initiatives have been identified, the purpose of the tour is to make sure the Elder Abuse Task Force explores opportunities to tackle the issues of abuse, neglect and exploitation more than 73,000 Michigan seniors face – and then finds ways to address those challenges.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Supreme Court Justices Richard Bernstein and Megan Cavanagh with special guest State Senator Paul Wojno will be in Clinton Township on Monday, July 22 at the Macomb Intermediate School District to hear from the community to identify ways seniors should be protected.
