Elder Abuse Task Force Symposium: The Elder Abuse Task Force and its panel of experts is offering two virtual events. Attorney General Dana Nessel has embarked on a series of entertaining consumer protection videos – to help people avoid scams in the first place. The first two videos are linked here (Robocalls video and Imposter Scams video). She feels these will help to protect as many Michiganders as possible from bad actors intent on defrauding vulnerable residents. Her goal is to arm folks with information and education so they can avoid a scam in the first place rather than attempt to recover from one.
